Command Master Chief Mike Micheli enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2003, and after graduated boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Basic Enlisted Submarine School and Sonar “A” School. He is a 2000 graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
 
At sea, he served aboard USS Pasadena (SSN 752); USS Annapolis (SSN 760); USS Illinois (SSN 786); and chief of the boat aboard USS Indiana (SSN 789).
 
His shore tours include squadron sonar chief at Submarine Development Squadron 12 Tactical Analysis Group; and Submarine Group 8 staff.
 
Micheli reported to Naval Submarine School as command master chief in March 2025.
