Commander Earl A. Crawford

Cmdr. Earl A. Crawford, a native of Panama City, Florida, graduated in 2003 from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering. He also earned a Master of Science in Manpower Systems Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School.

His operational assignments include Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HS) 4 embarked aboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) in support of a Western Pacific deployment and Operation Enduring Freedom; Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 84, forward deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; safety, training and operations department head with HSC-22, where he deployed to the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet area of responsibilities as detachment officer in charge aboard USS Wasp (LHD 1) and USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6); and fleet liaison officer to Naval Special Warfare Development Group.
 
Ashore, he served as operations officer of the Helicopter Sea Combat Weapon School Atlantic. 

Crawford reported to Naval Leadership and Ethics Command Dam Neck as executive officer in February 2025.
