Lieutenant Commander Jonathan B. Eubanks

Lt. Cmdr. Jonathan B. Eubanks, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in June 2003. He advanced to chief petty officer in 2012 and was accepted into Officer Candidate School in 2013 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Finance through the University of Maryland University College. He is a United States Army Command and General Staff College graduate, where he earned a Master of Arts in Operational Studies. 
 
Operationally and afloat, he deployed to Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom with Patrol Squadron (VP) 4 as a naval aircrewman.  Additionally, he served as the leading chief petty officer of Mobile Tactical Operations Center 3 in Jacksonville, Florida.  He also served aboard USS George Washington (CVN 73) as Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8 intelligence officer and aboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) as Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5's N2/N6 department head.
 
Ashore, he served as Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) Detachment Atsugi’s leading petty officer.  He also served as the detachment officer-in-charge  of Hopper Information Services Center, Naples, Italy.  Lastly, he served as the deputy director of Intelligence at U.S. Strategic Command, Omaha, Nebraska. 

He began serving as executive officer of CNATT Unit Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, in April 2025.
 
His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Achievement Medal, Air Medal Strike/Flight Award (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), and various unit, campaign, and service awards.
