A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Cmdr. Mark Milius graduated from the University of Memphis in 2001, where he earned a Master’s degree in Communication. He was commissioned after attending Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida. 

Following commissioning, he completed Supply Officer training at the Naval Supply Corps School in Athens, Georgia. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Touro University and is a graduate of the Executive Education Program at the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business.

Cmdr. Milius’ operational tours include Supply Officer, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Expeditionary Support Unit Two (EODESU TWO); Supply Officer Department Head, USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan; and Assistant Supply Officer, USS Ramage (DDG 61).

Tours ashore include assignments as Chief of Air Movement Operations for NATO Joint Force Command Naples, Chief of Logistics Operations for Commander Naval Forces Europe & Africa, Joint Logistics Operations Planner for United States Northern Command (NORTHCOM) and at Navy Supply Information Systems Activity (NAVSISA) where he completed the Navy Supply Corps’ Information Technology Internship program.

Cmdr. Milius is currently serving as the Executive Officer for Center of Service Support where he is responsible for the management and training operations of 12 Learning Sites and the continued development of over 110 courses of instruction.

His personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, four Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and various unit awards and citations. He is a qualified Navy Surface Warfare Supply Corps Officer, Navy Expeditionary Supply Corps Officer, and Joint Qualified Officer.
