SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 11, 2023) The amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) and the guided-missile destroyer USS Chung Hoon (DDG 93) perform expeditionary strike force (ESF) operations, Feb. 15, 2023, in the South China Sea.
