210122-N-PA517-0051 MERIDIAN, Miss. (Jan. 22, 2021) Retail Services Specialist (RS) 1st Class Ryan Brannan, an RS "A" School instructor from Corpus Christi, Texas, right, shows how students learn about a ship’s laundry to Rear Adm. Pete Garvin, commander, Naval Education and Training Command, during a visit to Naval Technical Training Center Meridian. The RS “A” School is a modernized course through Ready, Relevant Learning (RRL), a MyNavy HR Sailor 2025 initiative that fundamentally changes the way the Navy trains Sailors. The course uses interactive courseware, added more information, and enables more “reps and sets” with hands-on training in labs. RS is the first administrative rating to be modernized under RRL.
