NEWPORT, R.I. (Nov. 11, 2020) Officer Candidate Gabriel Dabbs, an Officer Candidate School (OCS) student from a senior class, leads physical fitness instruction for OCS class 06-21 students during "First Friday" at Officer Training Command Newport (OTCN), Rhode Island. During �First Friday�, the newest class meets their class officers, Recruit Division Commanders and Marine Corps Drill Instructors after completing a mandatory 14-day restriction of movement. OCS morally, mentally, and physically develops civilians and fleet Sailors into newly commissioned officers and imbues them with the highest ideals of honor, courage and commitment in order to prepare graduates for service in the fleet as Naval officers.
