PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 2, 2021) Rear Adm. Pete Garvin, commander, Naval Education and Training Command (NETC), right, and Force Master Chief Matthew Harris, recognize Lt. Carolee Dearman, formerly assigned to University of Illinois NROTC, Champaign, Illinois, as the 2020 MyNavy HR Force Development domain NROTC military instructor of the year (MIOY). The NETC MIOY program recognizes Sailors throughout the domain who exhibit attributes, such as sustained superior performance, leadership, mentorship, knowledge and teaching of military history and heritage, self-improvement, command and community involvement, and exemplary military bearing.
