Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

NETPDC Announces Junior and Senior Civilians of the Quarter for First Quarter 2021

The Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center (NETPDC) announced May 26 the selection of Maegan Cook as senior civilian of the quarter (COQ) for the first quarter, calendar year 2021. Cook, who works as an education services specialist for the Navy College Management Information System (NCMIS) program office. Her selection was based on her superior performance and dedication to the Navy College Virtual Education Center (NCVEC) in conducting gap analysis, developing requirements, batch processing tuition assistance, and creating video vignettes for schools and region advisors, among many other tasks.
