PORT HUENEME, Calif. (Aug. 26, 2021) Steelworker 1st Class Andrew Hagemeier teaches Rear Adm. Peter Garvin to weld like a Seabee during a steelworker schoolhouse tour at Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) Port Hueneme. NCTC Port Hueneme is one of five learning sites in the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering domain. They train and develop Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen, and Marines in construction trades to accomplish contingency and peacetime construction, chemical, biological, and radiological operations, and humanitarian assistance missions worldwide.
