Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

NIWDC Commander Visits CIWT to Discuss IW Training

While visiting the Center for Information Warfare Training, Capt. Bryan Braswell, commander, Naval Information Warfighting Development Center, received a tour of one of the Multipurpose Reconfigurable Training System 3 Dimensional (MRTS 3D®) labs used by cryptologic technician technical students to learn how to maintain the AN/SLQ-32v6, the principal Electronic Warfare system used on Navy surface ships, at Information Warfare Training Command Corry Station on Oct 13.
