Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Naval Intelligence Senior Leaders Visit IWTC San Diego

During the visit of Sandy Brown, assistant deputy director of Naval Intelligence and director, intelligence capabilities and systems division (N2N6Q) on the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) staff, and Chris Page, deputy director, OPNAV N2N6Q, to Information Warfare Training Command San Diego, Intelligence Specialist Chief Josh Bibb, one of the lead intelligence specialist instructors, explained the Afloat Intelligence Watchstander Courses IWTCSD offers and how the Fleet Team Trainers help prepare deploying Carrier Strike Groups and Amphibious Readiness Groups Intelligence teams to ensure they are prepared for the wide variety of missions and threats they may encounter on Oct. 11, 2022.
