Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

NETPDC Announces Civilians of the Quarter, Year for 2022

Willie Brisbane presents Daniel Thomas with the senior Civilian of the Year (COY) award for 2022. Thomas' selection was based on his superior performance in gaining extensive knowledge of the Public Works Department (PWD) operations, working and prioritizing the project request process, and supporting the mission by preparing and executing facility and workspace improvement projects.
