(March 23, 2023) NAVAL AIR STATION PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) “USS Nimitz” student barracks won the Barrack of the Month competition for March. NATTC had a special visitor participate in the award ceremony March 23, as Naval Education and Training Command’s Force Master Chief Richard L. Mengel attended. NATTC’s Barracks of the Month competition grades each student barracks on their conduct, watch qualifications, Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions (CSADD) participation, volunteer hours, student of the month ranking, and the winner of the previous month’s barracks chant competition. CSADD is a student-to-student peer mentoring program that encourages positive social interaction and development of leadership and good decision making skills. (U.S. Navy photo)
