Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

IWTC Corry Station Conducts Change of Command

During his introductory comments as the new commanding officer of Information Warfare Training Command Corry Station, Cmdr. Peter Manzoli said, ““I am humbled to be given the opportunity to lead the Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coastguardsmen, Airmen and Guardians while they hone their tradecraft to do two basic but difficult things… Stand ready to deter war, and, if required, deliver intolerable costs against our adversaries.” Manzoli received the command from Capt. Meredith Schley during a change of command ceremony held at the National Naval Aviation Museum on Naval Air Station Pensacola, Apr. 7, 2023.
