Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Navy Chief Information Officer Visits CIWT to Talk IW Training

Cmdr. Peter Manzoli, commanding officer, Information Warfare Training Command Corry Station, provided a tour of some of the IWTC Corry Station training facilities where Hermosilla was able to observe one of the MRTS 3D® labs used by cryptologic technician technical students to learn how to maintain the AN/SLQ-32(v)6, the principal Electronic Warfare system used on Navy surface ships, at IWTC Corry Station on May 10, 2023.
