Tennessee National Guard Field Artillery Unit Returns from Deployment

Tennessee Army National Guard soldiers from A Battery, 1-181st Field Artillery Battalion, based in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., returned to the state on June 17, following their deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Roughly 75 members depart from post deployment processing at Fort Bliss, Texas, on the afternoon of June 17, and return to Smyrna, Tenn. at the National Guard Volunteer Training Site on the Smyrna Airport Facility. They were greeted by Maj. Gen. Max Haston, The Adjutant General of Tennessee, and other senior military and civic leaders.
