Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

What used to be known as Korea's "Camp Humphreys" continues to be transformed into US Army Garrison Humphreys, an installation which will be the size of Washington D.C. when completed. SrA Sydeny Manning takes us there and says as the current phase of construction wraps up, some inquiring minds are dropping by to get a sneak peak at their new digs. The US Army Garrison Humphreys transformation is projected to take between three and five years. Once complete, it will be the largest US overseas military installation in the world.
