Every year, Iceland hosts ‘Northern Challenge’, an exercise that brings together the bomb disposal community to share expertise and know-how. Teams from 15 NATO Allies and partner nations took part this year.
Land and sea exercises were simulated to reflect real-life threats and small teams were tasked with defusing improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Footage includes various shots of exercises in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and interviews with key participants.
