The West Virginia National Guard's Army Interagency Training and Education Center held the first official course at the future All Hazards Training Center located at the Hobet reclaimed mine site.

14 AITEC Soldiers gained valuable and transferrable skills during a rope resuce course that took place from Aug. 19-25. Their new skillsets will enable them to work alongside and communicate with civilian agencies for domestic response operations. (U.S. Army National Guard video by Spc. Brianna Lawrence)
