German Marksmanship Badge Qualification

The Bundeswehr, or German Army, hosted United States Soldiers for a training exercise in Grafenwoehr Training Area on July 19, 2022. Select American service members took advantage of the chance to earn the German Armed Forces Badge of Marksmanship, or Schützenschnur. To earn the badge, U.S. Soldiers had to qualify using a German G36 rifle and P8 pistol. If successful, the U.S. Soldiers could walk away with a gold, silver, or bronze Schützenschnur.
