MOMENT OF EXCELLENCE: Meeting The Need For Trauma Care

  • Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune
  • Nov. 23, 2022 | 4:20

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune’s Level III Trauma Center was established in 2018. Since then, they have served not only the active duty but the civilian populace in five surrounding counties.
With the nearest Trauma Center more than an hour of driving distance away, NMCCL identified the gap in trauma care in the region and worked to meet that need.
After rigorous inspections, the Trauma Center continues to serve the public, save lives, and send our medical force forward to use the same skills downrange.
