Balikatan 23 | Allies in the Pacific

Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. participate in Balikatan 23 in the Philippines. From April 11-28, more than 17,600 troops trained shoulder-to-shoulder across northern Luzon Island and Palawan province, increasing proficiency in maritime security, amphibious operations, live-fire training, urban operation, aviation operations, counterterrorism and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
