Thomason's family made plans before the pandemic to attend the graduation, even buying plane tickets, hotel rooms, and a rental car. Luckily, Fort Sill live streamed the graduation for families to watch. Despite not attending in-person, Thomason's family still made signs and decorated as they watched from their homes in Arkansas and Florida.
