2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade Medical Course

U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 2nd Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) provide training for the Botswana Defence Force (BDF). The team worked with their BDF partners for approximately six weeks to improve squad level infantry skills, and provided non-commissioned officer development, tactical combat casualty care, and basic security and peacekeeping tactics. The 2nd SFAB has teams in countries all over Africa supporting the U.S. Army’s Southern European Task Force, Africa. Headquartered at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the 2nd SFAB assists, supports, liaises, and advises foreign security partners throughout competition and into crisis and conflict.
