Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) established its Wounded Warrior Program (WWP) in support of the Intelligence Community Wounded Warrior Program (ICWWP) in 2009. The DIA WWP provides wounded, ill, or injured active-duty service members, with meaningful work experiences intended to assist with recuperation and transition into the workforce, through DIA-wide internship opportunities.
