Welcome aboard. Congratulations on your orders to Information Warfare Training Command Monterey Detachment Goodfellow! Abundant opportunities for professional and personal growth will make this one of your most rewarding and challenging assignments. Located in southwestern Texas, San Angelo has a wealth of history and historical sites. San Antonio is a 3.5-hour drive to the south. There is a small local mall and AAFES Base Exchange, commissary, bank, credit unions, post office, chapels and many other facilities. Whatever your interest, crafts, sports or movies, all are available here.
CHECKING IN
You will be required to check in at the
Angelo Inn
if staying in temporary lodging. For check-in, you also must bring original orders to the Navy Detachment in Building 420 during workday hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday).
Cryptologic instructors are required to complete a polygraph examination prior to detaching from their present command. Polygraphs are not available at this site.
