Commander Miles G. Alvarez

Commanding Officer, Information Warfare Training Command Monterey

Cmdr. Miles G. Alvarez is a native of Los Angeles, California. In 2008, Alvarez was selected as a Cryptologic Warfare Limited Duty Officer. He holds a MA in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a MBA from the University of Baltimore’s Merrick School of Business.

Lieutenant Commander Casey Elbare

Executive Officer, Information Warfare Training Command Monterey

Lt. Cmdr. Casey Elbare is a native of Tampa, Florida. He joined the Navy as a fire control technician in 1997. Elbare is a 2006 graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and he holds a Master of Arts in Defense and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College (Halsey Alpha Fellow). He received his commission through Officer Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island, in 2008.

Master Chief Laura T. Stout

Senior Enlisted Leader, Information Warfare Training Command Monterey

Master Chief Cryptologic Technician Interpretive Laura T. Stout, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, enlisted in the Navy in 1997. She attended CTI “A” school in Monterey, California and “C” school training at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. Stout holds an Associate of Arts in Spanish from the Defense Language Institute and a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy.
