Command Master Chief Adam S. Eaker

 Command Master Chief Adam S. Eaker, a San Diego native, enlisted the U.S. Navy in March 1998 and attended basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational management from Ashford University. He is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Residence Course, Class 175, (Green Group), Command Master Chief Course, Major Command Master Chief Course, National Defense University Keystone Class 18-2, Navy Senior Leadership Seminar, Executive Leadership Seminar, and Senior Shore Leadership Course.

His sea duty assignments include the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74); USS Nimitz (CVN 68), Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 27; VFA-102 and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12.

Ashore, his assignments include Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department (AIMD), Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS Detachment West), Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 9, Detachment Edwards Air Force Base; VFA-101, Joint Strike Fighter Wing and Naval Base Guam.

He was selected into the command senior chief program in February 2013 and advanced to the rank of master chief petty officer the following year.

He reported to the Naval Air Technical Training Center as command master chief in March 2026.

His personal decorations include Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), and various service and campaign awards.
