Description

The Foundational Leader Development Course (FLDC) prepares E-3 and petty officers third class for increased leadership responsibilities in support of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Navy Leader Development Framework. 

This course is designed to give the learner an introduction to self-awareness, the naval profession, and naval leadership and ethical decision making. The curriculum is very closely linked to the Navy core values and challenges learners to align their personal values to these values.

For in-person or virtual class at either NLEC San Diego or NLEC Dam Neck: 
• Use CANTRAC (CAC login required) to view class schedules. (https://app.prod.cetars.training.navy.mil/cantrac/vol2.html)
• Contact your training officer or training department to enroll using ENTRS (CAC login required). (https://app.prod.cetars.training.navy.mil/eNTRS/) 
• Be sure to select your email certificate when accessing the sites.
