Sailors in various engineering ratings get ready for the shipboard firefighting trainer at Surface Warfare Engineering School Command Great Lakes.
STUDENT INFORMATION

Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command (SWESC) Great Lakes is responsible for all students attending courses at SWESC Great Lakes. Students are required to check in with the Officer Of the Deck (OOD) at Admiral Mike Boorda Hall (BLDG 30) prior to their course start date.

TSC CHECK-IN PROCESS

Sailors should arrange their own transportation from the airport to Naval Station Great Lakes. Upon arrival, service members need to have their orders stamped at Admiral Mike Boorda Hall (BLDG 30) and obtain a check-in sheet before receiving a room assignment. Depending on when they arrive, Sailors will continue with the check-in process and report to the Student Coordinator Office Located in BLDG 215 Room 115 the next morning or business day if checking in on a weekend/holiday.

Pre-check in requirements and information is available to military personnel with a Common Access Card (CAC) at the online Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC).

For after-hours questions or emergencies, contact the SWESC Great Lakes Command Duty Officer at 847-257-3363.
