• Initial check-in and orders stamping
• Obtain check-in sheet and room assignment
• Officer of the Deck: 847-688-3778
 
2. Student Coordinator Office
• Location: 415 Fullam Ave., Great Lakes, IL 60088 (BLDG 215, Room 115)
• Visit the next business day after check-in

PROCESS OVERVIEW
1. Transportation to Base
• Sailors must arrange their own transportation to Naval Station Great Lakes
• The USO at O’Hare Airport can assist with transport setup
• Great Lakes Welcome Center 620 Farragut Ave. Great Lakes, IL 60088
 
2. Initial Check-In at Admiral Mike Boorda Hall (BLDG 30)
• Stamp orders and obtain check-in sheet
• Receive room assignment

(A-School Students)
• Stamp orders and obtain check-in sheet
• Receive room assignment
 
(C-School Students)
• Stamp orders and obtain check-in sheet
• Room arrangements should be made prior to checking in at NGIS
 
3. Next Day Actions
• Report to the Student Coordinator Office during business hours for further instructions
• If arriving on a weekend or holiday, report on the next business day
 
4. Pre-Check-In Requirements
• Access additional details on CANTRAC (requires a CAC)
