230923-N-NO430-5425 MADISON, Wis., (Sept. 23, 2023) – The University of Illinois Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) captured the overall title at this year’s University of Wisconsin-Madison Fall Invitational, Sept. 23. The Fighting Illini Battalion topped four other units to win for the first time since 2021. The host unit, University of Wisconsin Badgers finished in second. The Marquette University Golden Eagles took third, The Chicago Consortium (Northwestern, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Illinois at Chicago, Loyola University) ended up in fourth and fifth place went to Miami of Ohio University who won the overall championship last year.
