As part of the Center for Information Warfare Training, IWTC San Diego and its four training sites not only service the fleet, but provide information warfare training across all the Department of Defense’s uniformed services. From San Diego Airport, you can search for “TACTRAGRUPAC” or “Third Fleet” in map applications to get you to the base.
 
  • Take Airport Terminal Rd. to N Harbor Dr.
  • Turn right onto N Harbor Dr.
  • Turn left onto Rosecrans St.
  • Turn right onto Cañon St.
  • Slight left onto Catalina Blvd.
  • Take Catalina Blvd. to Electron Dr.
  • Turn right onto Electron Dr. enter base gate.
  • Turn right onto Horizon Dr.
  • Building 56 will be on the left.
 

Reporting Information

 
PCS students reporting before class convening date:
  • Report to Building 56.
  • Students attending TBMCS should be housed either in the barracks at the ASW Annex or off base near Point Loma.  If a student is assigned Naval Base San Diego Dry Side barracks, contact the ANA, ISNS, and TBMCS instructors about moving to the appropriate barracks at (619) 553-7382.
For All PCS (including those reporting on class convening date) and TAD students:
  • Report to Building 56 at Point Loma 0700-0800 on the first day of class.
  • If lost, please contact the instructor office at (619) 553-7382.
Transportation for PCS students to schoolhouse:
  • If student has a driver’s license, contact detailer to inquire whether a rental car can be added to orders.
  • If a student does not have a driver’s license or if a rental car cannot be arranged, course instructors will assist in developing a solution, and duty drivers are available.
