REPORTING INFORMATION
WHAT BUILDING DO I GO TO FOR TRAINING?
Training at IWTC San Diego takes place at various buildings. Normal reporting information is available in
CANTRAC
(CAC logon required) by looking at your orders and searching by course name or Course Data Processing Code (CDP). If you are in transit and unable to access CANTRAC, call the IWTC San Diego quarterdeck at (619) 524-5814 for assistance and clarification/confirmation on where to report. Click on the appropriate building for elaborating reporting information and directions/map location as well.

Additional Questions: Please contact the Quarterdeck at (619) 524-5814 or DSN: 524-5814.
UNIFORMS
Students should report wearing the uniform of the day for their parent command. Students on PCS orders with IWTC San Diego listed as the intermediate activity should report wearing the following:
Navy E1-E6: Navy Service Uniform (NSU, i.e. "Black and Tans")
Navy E7 and Above: Navy Service Khakis
Marine Corps: Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform
Army: Army Combat Uniform (ACU)
Air Force: Air Force Utility Uniform
While under instruction, students will wear the uniforms indicated below, unless otherwise prescribed by IWTCSD course leadership:
- Navy: Navy Working Uniform, Type III
** Only those individuals that are in a designated "duty in a flying status" category may wear flight suits and associated wear (i.e. flight jacket). **
- Marine Corps: Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform
- Army: Army Combat Uniform (ACU)
- Air Force: Air Force Utility Uniform
IAW NAVPERS156651I Article 6803 2.A, Flight suits may be worn by aircrew members (ie. 1310, 1320) and individuals who are in an
ACTIVE FLIGHT STATUS
. This authorization does not include ground support (ie. IW Officers), non-aircrew maintenance, or non-aircrew support personnel.
BERTHING
ALL STUDENT BERTHING
As IWTC SAN DIEGO courses are located throughout the San Diego waterfront, all students must refer to CANTRAC for information regarding berthing arrangements. CANTRAC can be accessed via the following website: https://app.prod.cetars.training.navy.mil/cantrac/vol2.html
PROSPECTIVE STAFF AND VISITORS
Billeting shall be arranged in advance via the Navy Gateway Central Reservation Line, at: 1-877-NAVY-BED. Suggested berthing is at the Point Loma NMAWC Gateway Inn & Suites on the ASW Base (Gate 1) off Harbor Drive. This location is the closest to IWTC San Diego building 564 and provides a central location for visitors to share limited government rental cars.
NOTES: On occasion, the Gateway inns are filled to capacity and there are no available quarters. Visitors may have to accept alternatives such as other military bases in the area or commercial arrangements. Due to the distance between bachelor quarters and IWTC San Diego building 564 coupled with the lack of base transportation, IWTC San Diego recommends visitors be authorized rental cars for transportation.
