The environmental staff takes pride in offering relevant and quality training to our students. We offer courses in the following environmental subjects:

  • Environmental Management / Overview
  • Pollution Prevention
  • Environmental Compliance
  • Environmental Conservation & Planning
  • Environmental Restoration
We are one of two Navy schoolhouses that are tasked to implement the Navy Environmental and Natural Resources Program (ENRP) Navy Training System Plan (NTSP) for meeting training requirements outlined in federal environmental regulations and in OPNAVINST 5090.1E Environmental Readiness Program.

The Navy, in conjunction with the other services, has found that specific environmental education training courses offered by the Air Force, Army, and Defense Logistics Agency meet the training requirements of the Navy. These courses are annotated as "interservice courses" and instructions for registering with the lead service schoolhouse are provided.

In addition to classroom courses, we are leading the services in developing interactive multimedia instruction for delivery of online courses.
