Tuition/Costs
There is no tuition charge for Department of Defense military personnel or civilian employees for resident training. Except for courses pertaining to the Navy's Energy Program, travel and per diem costs of students are funded by the employing activities.

Messing and Berthing
Accommodations for officer and civilian employees are available in the Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), Port Hueneme Unaccompanied Housing. Navy personnel who are traveling to NBVC, Port Hueneme must make lodging reservations through their servicing commercial travel office (CTO), currently SATO travel.

Government messing facilities are available at the galley.
 
Berthing and messing arrangements for courses held at locations other than Port Hueneme may vary significantly. Students will be advised of those arrangements in advance.
 
Transportation
No government transportation is available. Commercial transportation is available through rail, air, and bus facilities in Oxnard, California.
 
Reporting
All personnel granted quotas for resident training at CECOS should be ordered to report to the Commanding Officer, Naval Civil Engineer Corps Officers School, 3502 Goodspeed Street, Suite 1, Port Hueneme, CA 93043-4336. Reporting details for courses conducted at other locations will be provided in enrollment confirmation letters.
