NEWPORT, R.I. (Aug. 4, 2021) Rear Adm. Gregory Todd, chaplain of the Marine Corps and deputy chief of chaplains, gives the graduation address during a graduation ceremony held in the Chapel of Hope, on Naval Station Newport, R.I., for students assigned to the Naval Chaplaincy School and Center in the Basic Leadership Course, class 21030.


RP rating enlisted courses focus on preparing students with the mission-essential training, ready, relevant learning to provide support to Navy chaplains and religious ministry in the sea services.
 

Professional naval chaplaincy resident training courses focus on preparing students with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to provide religious ministry in the sea services.

NCS provides initial skills and intermediate and advanced leadership Navy chaplain training for 1945 (unrestricted line officer under instruction as a prospective Chaplain Corps officer), 4105 and 4100 (Chaplain Corps officer) naval officer designators at Brett Hall on Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island.
 

All Chaplain Corps professional development courses focus on preparing students with the mission-essential training and ready, relevant learning to provide religious ministry in the sea services.

NCS provides Chaplain Corps professional development training annually to chaplains and religious program specialists at Navy and Marine Corps fleet locations.
To learn more about course information and schedules, military personnel may log into the online Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC) with a Common Access Card (CAC).

1. Go to CANTRAC (CAC login required) to reach the CANTRAC Volume II site for schedules and course information.

2. Enter either a course title or specific school ("CENSERVSUPP" or "Chaplain" or "Religious Program") to browse all current courses we offer in the search box.

3. Click on submit under Basic Course/Location & Navy eLearning Search Report.

4. Click on specific Course CIN/CDP/Schedules/Quotas for information.
