Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

To learn more about Basic Division Officer’s Course (BDOC), Officer of the Deck (OOD) Phase 1 and 2, Quartermaster Journeyman, Navigation Fundamentals Course, ECDIS Course, 7m and 11m Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat Course, and/or STREAM Course information and schedules, military personnel may log into the online Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC) with a Common Access Card (CAC).

1. Go to CANTRAC (CAC login required) to reach the CANTRAC Volume II site for schedules and course information.
2. Enter a course title or search for "MSTCLANT NORF."
3. Click on submit under Basic Course/Location & Navy eLearning Search Report.
4. Click on specific Course CIN/CDP/Schedules/Quotas for information.
