Fair Winds

 

Fair Winds is a versatile woodwind ensemble with repertoire consisting of a variety of styles including Classical, Military Marches, and Patriotic compositions. This small chamber group performs for military engagements, public concerts, recitals, and educational clinics and performs for audiences throughout the Midwest supporting Navy and Navy Recruiting missions

 

For Performance, the Fair Winds requires:

  • 12’ x 12’ clean, dry, level and stable area for performance
  • Five chairs (without arms)
  • Close proximity parking/unloading for:
    • - One 15-passenger vans
  • Map / directions to site
  • Changing rooms: male and female (public restrooms are not permitted as changing rooms)

Lapse in Appropriations: The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025.
Military personnel will continue in normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
