NROTC Minority Serving Institution (MSI) Scholarships
The NROTC has a limited number of scholarships available for students to attend MSI schools, which encompass Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), High Hispanic Enrollment (HHE) schools, and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSI).
If you are interested in attending one of the schools listed below, you must respond positively to the MSISR question on the application and list at least one of the MSI schools in your top 5 choices on your national scholarship application in order for the application to be processed.

Benefits
Full tuition at one of the listed colleges or universities (unless room and board is elected as the preferred scholarship benefit instead of tuition and fees).
All mandatory fees imposed by the School on all full-time undergraduate students.
Stipend for text books
Currently $750 per academic year ($375 per semester or $250 per quarter)
Provide uniforms and Naval Science textbooks
Three summer cruises
Subsistence allowance each academic month:
Freshmen - $250/month
Sophomore - $300/month
Junior - $350/month
Senior - $400/month

Who Are We Looking For?
Applicants may be of any gender, race, or ethnic background.
Applicants must be a Navy Option applicant (Marine Corps and Nurse Corps Option applicants are not eligible).
Applicants must receive an Officer Interview from any NROTC Commanding Officer or Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Commanding Officer.
The NROTC Preparatory Program leverages Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps programs to assist universities in identifying high-quality applicants, but not all university programs require NJROTC participation.
